Patrol

The patrol division's primary function is traffic enforcement. The patrol deputies are also directed to perform "non-traffic" related type duties and assignments which occur on a daily basis. A patrol deputy from this division is assigned the duty of recreation officer. The recreation officer conducts ATV, boat and snowmobile law enforcement operations as well as enforcing county ordinance and state statute as it pertains to environmental issues.  The Patrol Division consists of one Captain, two Patrol Sgts., twelve Patrol Deputies and three K-9 units.
