Wisconsin Shares Child Care Subsidy Program (Child Care Assistance)

Wisconsin’s Child Care Subsidy program helps families pay for child care. If the parent is eligible, child care can be subsidized for children under the age of 13 (up to 19 if special needs).

A parent, relative, or person acting in place of a parent must participate in an approved activities such as work, school, or the W-2 Program.

Income guidelines and other non-financial requirements must be met to qualify.
