Once Conditional Use Permit application (CUP) and fee is received by the Jackson County Zoning office we will begin to process the paperwork.  CUP application notice will be sent to adjacent property owners within 300 feet of requesting parcel. CUP notifications will also be announced in Banner Journal for 2 weeks and announced on the radio.  CUP is also sent to local township.  Local townships provide their positions on granting the CUP; it is recommended that the CUP applicant attend this Township meeting to address any concerns/issues the local township may have. Once this is completed, the CUP request will be added to the Zoning Committee agenda and will be heard during the next Zoning Committee meeting.
