Day Care Certification Program
Finding quality childcare is something every working parent strives for. The
Jackson County Childcare Certification program offers certification to Jackson
County in-home childcare providers, following a set of standards set forth by
the State of WI. Child day care providers are required to be regulated if
they're providing care and supervision to 4 or more children that are less
than 7 years of age that are non-related to the provider. The certification
process involves the child daycare provider to complete an application,
background check, and to meet standards set forth by WI Administrative Code.
Once certified, child daycare providers have access to educational opportunities
and resources to assist them in providing children a quality daycare experience.
Recertification is required every 2 years. This program provides both working
families and child day care providers the assurance of safe, nurturing care for the children
of Jackson County.
